"Nothing is so healing as the human touch" ~ Bobby Fischer
Shadow is a massage therapist, clinical social worker, yoga teacher and member of our wellness and care team. During her time as a massage therapist, Shadow has found that massage therapy is often a key that opens the door to healing, peace, and freedom in a profound and accelerated way — especially when complimented with other wellness services and therapy. Serving others as a massage therapist has allowed Shadow to support clients in all stages of healing and empowerment. Every session is tailored to each client with intention and holding space for what the client wants for herself/himself — whether that be healing, nurturing, or support for her/his mind-body connection. Your massage therapy session will include a blend of Swedish technique, reflexology, and CLARITY Energy.
Shadow has been practicing yoga regularly since 1996. She has been trained in Iyengar, Bikram, Power, and Ashtanga. She began teaching Power Flow in 1998 at Harbor Athletic Club, Kanopy Dance, and MATC while earning her teaching training in Chicago. She and her co-teacher began teaching hot yoga before it was popular in Madison. Through 3 childbirths, and numerous injuries, she continued practicing yoga as it has always been a homecoming for her.
Yoga has been called spiritual exercise, stretching and strengthening muscles via meditation, and movement with breath. Some think it is vital to maintaining balanced emotions, steady creativity, and a healthy body thereby making it necessary for navigating relationships and challenges in life. Shadow knows that yoga isn’t for everyone but she believes anyone can do yoga.
Currently, Shadow is teaching private yoga sessions and classes each week: All skill levels are welcome in each of these classes. You can book on our app, Innervate, on the Wellness Living link below or call her directly at 608.409.3400.

"Shadow touched my senses, spoke to my soul, and was devoted to supporting me by carving out a pool of total acceptance of who I was, am, and who I am becoming."
